The Pagan Federation’s mission is to support all Pagans in ensuring they have the same rights as the followers of other beliefs and religions. Our main aim is to promote a positive profile for Pagans and Paganism through the provision of information and support to the media, official bodies and the greater community about Pagan beliefs and practices.

The Pagan Federation LGBTQIA+ Team works to increase awareness and overcome the challenges encountered by LGBTQIA+ Pagans across the UK. Through working closely with our own internal volunteer network, relationships with other relevant organisations, events and community initiatives, we identify the barriers faced by LGBTQIA+ Pagans of all kinds and work to create solutions which allow them to practice their beliefs without prejudice.

You must be a Pagan Federation Member of good standing to apply for these roles.

We have the following roles currently available:

LGBTQIA+ Social Media Officer
As social media officer, your role is to provide support to the whole LGBTQIA+ Team while working closely with the Manager and their deputy. Your line managers are the LGBTQIA+ Manager, or their deputy in the case of the Manager’s absence, and the Social Media Manager. You will also work closely with the other community support teams and the Community Support Officer.

LGBTQIA+ District Liasions
Your role is to serve our members and the Pagan community within the district you have become liaison for as well as nationally through our offered services. You will assist the District team in your area with the members they serve in matters relating to LGBTQIA+ issues and the practice of their Pagan faith as well as work within the LGBTQIA+ Team to ensure our services are provided nationally. Working closely with both your district and the LGBTQIA+ team members, your line managers are the LGBTQIA+ Manager and the District Manager for your area. You will also work occasionally with other Community Support teams and their members.
Areas available:
North West – covering Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria
East Anglia– covering Cambridgeshire, Essex and Norfolk
Central, Thames and Solent – covering Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Salisbury, Guildford, Isle of Wight and Reading
South West– covering Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset
South East – covering Brighton and Hove, Bromley, Dartford, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, Wells and East Kent
London – covering the city of London and surrounding areas
