I wrote this a long time ago when I was still in junior school. Looking back, I think it’s quite funny.
My name is Beth
And I am not embarrassed to say
That I am a witch.
Don’t be afraid of me
Because I don’t cast spells
Or hex.
I wear a cape
But not a pointy hat.
I know you might be scared
But play with me.
Don’t run away from me.
My teacher says that witches aren’t real
So is he saying I’m not real?
Is he saying that I’m invisible?
Don’t worry. I don’t fly on a broom
Cause I am a more technological witch
Because I fly on a vacuum.
